In this article I want to talk about a subject that probably can be interesting for some. I want to talk about my job and share certain aspects such experiences which I myself made in time with you. So far I have, as well as most others, kept my job secret and am knitting followed the contract and its rules, but I want to now, even though I know I have to be under obligations to talk to you about the subject. I want to explain the profession in general and try to be as descriptive as possible for me. I want to talk about the show business and the system behind it, I want to talk about certain mechanisms and discover points that were perhaps as yet obtained many unknowingly.

My job is Kigurumi Actress / show doll. I work for / in a show that could be some known probably.

Many think that it will be a wonderful profession must and probably not so stressful and totally sweet.

I want to clean up in my article with my prejudices and facts
give enlightenment, what it really means and how the positive as well as negative aspects, look through this kind of profession.

I can say it is in no way an easy number, bringing much with itself same. Many important physical as well as spiritual aspects are in high demand and who himself to his own performance and limitations (such as no health mentally and Fitness) is aware of this profession can forget it.

It will certainly take a while until I write the article, I am considering currently exactly how I approach the matter, because it can be a fairly long article yet, but it's also important to me, you provide information about it, so that ye of an image can do as it is.

I try as much as possible to explain and to elaborate on points to give a thorough reconnaissance.

Unfortunately, I must also point out, I am under a contract (still). I am bound to many right lines and can not talk about everything, down to the details, I can not go very well at points, like myself would like it and will have to think about how I am best so declare and performing things without to have problems with my contract.


In the near future I'll be here to submit my articles and other things, as also react upcoming issues, as far as I can.

I apologize that I can do first only an announcement about it, but working as quickly as possible to the article and will publish it here then.

Without you breaking any contractual obligations you have, or confidentiality agreements that you may have with your employer. Can you tell me if the term "Suit Actor" is accurate?

I have seen the term used to apply to any of the actors in Japanese TV and Movies, who do the monsters, the super sensai roles, or the Villians on shows like Power Rangers. By the definition I have, all these actors perform completely covered in a costume, and dialog is added later. Do you consider yourself to be a "Suit Actor " as well?

I am also interested in how far back Kigurumi Stage shows go.( Someone needs to write a companion article, on the History of Japanese Kigurumi.) When the professional shows began, what were the Fans doing at that time. Were there Suit Actors or Models dressed as Anime characters at trade shows before then?

I would like to hear your thoughts.

I am sure that while you are in character Harumi, you are mobbed by fans while off stage meeting the public. I respect the fact that you want to continue to keep your identity secret, so that you can wander through crowds unrecognized when out of Costume.

I know of at least one person, a famous Author, who actually used Kigurumi in order to get around conventions without being recognized.

I did think it unusual that you performed in Kigurumi as a hobby, That feels like taking your work home with you, to me. But I can understand your need to practice in your off time. Do you ever go out to events in Mask and costume for fun?

It's just like being a super hero they can't reveal their identity as well to anyone and luchadores they never unmask themselves if they do it's a dishonor and they lose that mask and lose being a luchadore

No, before, i was performing kigurumi and all activitys about just for the media and business. There is very less time for me, to performing privat kigurumi outside and stay at free events, like conventions. Yes we are also at conventions/events but only for business not privat. I have many meetings i need planning with other and look to splitt my time clever and enough usefull for every rest activitys. Almost we are planned out and time for free activitys is more less.

Yes, bringing work also at home is one part of this job too. Practice, does not only work at official meet ups, also the training of everybody it self is an important act to the job to show initiative.

Is kinda similar like, Modeling worker, who bring his/her work also at home and connected job with hobby all together for fun and also better work and progress it self. I guess Kigurumi mask maker, are like that.

However in my case, also i be interested to privat kigurumi, as simple hobby itself. Not just for work, also for fun myself and make new expierence about the different of professional and privat performing.

I learned the most things about kigurumi only with my job yet.
