Who makes the costumes for these stage shows? In fact, my interest in the field of Kigurumi is solely Precure, as I discovered it in early march. I have a large collection of photos and videos of each individual character to ever make a debut at any precure show, as well as quite a few backstage images saved in a folder. I have even spoken to an event organiser at the Hikosen theatre where they run some musical shows, and he told me that the costumes were made by Toei Animation (the creators of Precure) themselves. Surely this can't be correct though, as I should imagine that a fairly large production house (there are 60 cure costumes, plus 55 of their civilian forms, all the minor/villain/monster characters, a few variations of the cure outfits and 2 original cures that were slightly remodeled) to have made all of that.

Long time Precure kig fanatic here, as far as I know Toei does have it's own in house kig makers as they make kigs for Precure, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai currently and for other shows in the past. From what others have said they did contract out for some of the musical kig shows but I suspect that was mainly for the non-anime characters and the fursuit characters.
