Would martial arts like karate help? I was told that stuff like that built fast-twitch (the lean) muscles, and burned a lot of calories an hour, as well as helped with heat dissipation.

That exactly is my issue I have wide shoulders and a chest. I am working on losing weight and busting the gut, having gone from a 50 inch waist to having 40" pants be loose. However, I have a ways to go.

I would say the best way is to do a kig panel with a good spokesperson and wear your kig so you can turn around, and show off the pieces being talked about.

One strange thing. Last year, I was kigging at a renfaire, and believe it or not, I had better luck getting dates (of the female kind) in kig than I have had in years before that.

I felt a lot of anxiety introducing my non-kig self to them, of course.
